How SiteSafe Interactive Works
In these times of heightened security awareness, it's imperative that you know not only who's on your site, but other information about them that's pertinent to their safety, and the integrity of your plant and equipment.

SiteSafe Interactive combines moving images, graphics, diagrams and all relevant safety information about a particular site or work environment in an interactive presentation that's run from a PC, Mac or even a head office server

It starts by collecting information about the inductee that's important to you, such as personal, medical, contact and work experience details, and holds them in an industry-standard SQL database.

It then steps inductees through all of the vital and important safety information and procedures about your site, and quizzes them on what they've been told. If an inductee gives the wrong answer to any question, it takes them back to that information within the presentation, and replays it, and it keeps doing that until the inductee gives the correct answer.

When they finish their induction you have 100 per cent proof that they've been informed about, and have understood, all of your site safety systems and procedures. There can be no argument about not understanding or not being informed of a procedure that later becomes the subject of complaint, WorkCover investigation or litigation.

Your SiteSafe Induction program can further enhance the safety of their visit. It can be programmed to print out a comprehensive visitors tag, even incorporating a barcode which can be used to access restricted areas,  keep track of the services they might consume while on site or to log expenses incurred on-site against a project's cost code.

The unique information capture module built into each SiteSafe Interactive induction is tailored by you to capture all of the critical information you want to know and retain about those who visit or work on your sites.

Not just the basics like name, address and next of kin, but also such information as why they've come, who they're seeing, what company they represent and a contact at that company, whether they've ever visited a facility similar to yours before, what training they've had … anything you like to nominate can be captured. The information is collected in an industry-standard database which can operate in a stand-alone mode, or integrate into your main site or head office database.

The SiteSafe Interactive database can be designed to capture a wide range of information to give your OH&S team the best possible opportunity to see accidents and incidents before they happen.

Not only do you build up a permanent and useful record of those who visit or work at your sites, but you can also collect useful statistics about the induction process itself. How long does it take an inductee to complete the test; which questions do they find easiest/most difficult; how many times do they need to see a clip/segment before they can answer related questions; who may have reading/writing/comprehension difficulties. Using this information you can better tailor your presentations to those who visit your sites.
